Our Mandate:

Shelter of Hope is mandated to provide service

1. Provide secure temporary shelter to abused women and their children.
2. Provide non-judgmental, supportive counselling based on a feminist analysis of violence against women.
3. Advocate on behalf of women and children.
4. Educate the public about the issue of violence against women and their children.

The Rainy River District Women’s Shelter of Hope is a not-for-profit, charitable organization. We are committed to working cooperatively with other professionals and organizations to establish and maintain a seamless and comprehensive network of services for women who have been victimized by violence.
